Garth Allen Marksted Travel is a merger of two long established Quebec based travel agencies.
Marksted Agencies Travel Consultants was established in 1956 and has been a very important agency in vacation and leisure travel. Garth Allen Travel was established in 1957 and has been serving the Montreal and surrounding areas for almost 5 decades.
In 1995 Air Canada awarded the agency with membership in its exclusive Millionaires Club. The 1995 merger combined two of the city’s longest running travel companies into one large entity. Our clients have benefited from our professional dedication and ability to shape business through the service, advice and counsel we provide. Many of our clients have grown with us and continue to rely upon our expertise, negotiating power and professional know how.
In 1998 our company grew even stronger with the addition of a 3rd agency. This brings us more experience of successfully organizing meetings, conventions and groups between 20 and 1000 people.We would ask you to note that, over our combined 80 year history, our offices have developed working relationships with all major airlines, car rental firms, hotels around the world as well as most travel insurance suppliers.
